Velocity Wear Protector is an engine oil additive that was invented in March 2000. Velocity WP is a new concept Extreme Pressure lubricant that is totally based on new technology. Other products popular today are based on technologies first used in the late 19th century and last improved during the WWII era and shortly after. Velocity WP is truly a "next generation" lubricant and metal protector that has evolved away from the undesirable characteristics and properties found in earlier products. The most recent examples of such products were the Teflon oil additives of a few years ago which proved to be disastrous in most cases.

Velocity Wear Protector does not contain long-chain hydro-carbon compounds proven to be extremely hazardous to our environment and health. Velocity Wear Protector does not use chlorinated compounds or halogen family derivatives still popular today in many extreme pressure products. Many of these compounds are also problematic to our environment and the very engine systems they are supposed to protect. Velocity WP is not based on boric acid technology or similar processes common in many competing products. Velocity Wear Protector does not use suspended wear metals to re-surface ferrous metal components as some products claim to do.

So how does Velocity Wear Protector work? Simply stated Velocity Wear Protector places a self-repairing high TBN film strength lubrication "shield" around metal surfaces. The effectiveness of the Velocity Shield is only reduced by the removal of the metal surface itself. (This can be demonstrated.) In other words, the only practical way the Velocity Shield can be removed is by removing the metal it is protecting. In addition to the Velocity Shield, Velocity Wear Protector contains additional polar additive technology to help oil absorb and remove heat faster.

Velocity does not change the original oil manufacturer's designed additive package in any way. Your machinery still needs this additive package to do the other things your oil needs to do. Velocity WP is not a substitute for your oil's designed additive package. Velocity Wear Protector does not replace or alter these necessary compounds. Rather Velocity WP supports and enhances the lubrication process of your mechanical system. The oil is a carrier for Velocity to reach the metal parts it is designed to protect.

You may ask, "Why don't oil company engineers or mechanical system manufacturers insist that something like Velocity Wear Protector be included in their additive packages?" They say it's not necessary or needed. Why would they say this? I'll let you think about that for a while....

Let me give you a hint! They believe, "things need to wear out."

	Those wanting a concentrated product that goes a long way and lasts for a long time. For example, in non-commercial use, add only to the crankcase every 5 yrs., or 30- 50,000 miles. Not every oil change

Velocity Wear Protector is NOT diluted with regular motor oil; it is a pure PAO concentrate able to provide benefit in numerous applications. Velocity WP underwent testing for 18 months before ever being offered to the public. The product was tested by world known labs recognized by the EPA and using ASTM procedures. The tests were conducted in real engines under real operating conditions. ASTM tests included:
