Velocity Premium Diesel Additive is a diesel fuel additive designed to improve the operating efficiency of diesel engines.

Unfortunately, as the cost of diesel fuel continues to rise, the quality of major fuels seems to be decreasing. It is generally known by all diesel fuel consumers that the quality problems with diesel fuel has led to numerous maintenance concerns ranging from smoking to clogged injectors and increased combustion chamber carbon deposits. With the new low sulphur fuels and diesel particle filter systems this poor quality fuel adds to the diesel operator's headaches.

 Velocity PDA brings most pump diesel to the level normally called "Premium Diesel". Number 2 diesel brought to at least 47 cetane rating is probably the most desired level of fuel quality wanted today. At that level, combustion is more complete, creating  more power and efficiency. We have tested many fuels randomly lately and have been shocked to find that 37 to 39 cetane rating fuels are commonplace at many diesel pumps today. And surprisingly, many "winterized" fuels have little or no anti-icing/gelling agents or improvers. It is well known that the better combustibility of diesel fuel (ease at which diesel combusts) is a very desirous quality in mobile and fixed diesel equipment.

Velocity PDA can be demonstrated as raising cetane numbers 6 to 10 points. (The normal suggested dosage raises cetane numbers 4-6 points, which brings about a significant performance boost.) Mileage increases are usually significant. Power  and quieting is usually quite noticeable. And, as should be with any  diesel additive, it is cost effective and usually demonstrates reduced operating costs.

Note:  Velocity PDA is a seasonal product. Summer and Winter formulations are available. Both Summer and Winter PDA have the same general properties. However the winter blend will protect fuel to -40 f. degrees below 0. while raising cetane 4-6 numbers.
